I ordered a Primary Arms 1X micro prism ACSS cyclops gen II reticle and a few hours later I noticed that I was supposed to have ordered the ACSS 9mm Gemini reticle as I am mounting this sight on my PCC.

I called in to the store and spoke with Payam who had a discussion with me regarding the two reticles and the size comparisons. They gave me the best explanation, very knowledgeable and professional, ultimately I chose to go with the 9mm Gemini instead as I would get the best functionality for my PCC that is chambered in 9mm with the 9mm calibrated scope. Payam edited my order for me and as if 5 minutes ago my microprism optic is on its way! Amazing customer service! I will highly recommend MARSTAR to my friends and family who are firearm owners.

With a little bit of fitting these grips fit the CZ 75 D PCR and are a big improvement over the factory rubber grips. I was impressed with the quality of the checkering and overall finish. John did a great job of answering my questions and the grips arrived in 5 days. I’m very happy with the grips and service and would not hesitate to order from Marstar again.

I would just like to post a comment about the excellent service I received from Marstar. I ordered a Norinco Olympia on Aug 6. By Aug 9 I was informed that the transfer had been initiated and given a transfer number. 156 days later I got my transfer processed by the “open for business” (not) Ontario government. I sent a copy of that transfer to Marstar late in the day and by 630 the next morning I had an email thanking me for that and informing me that they would try to ship it out that day. I know (understandably) other gun shops are struggling to get stuff out as transfers come in so I did not expect that within the next hour I had a notice that my gun was being shipped and had a tracking number. I should note that every step of the way, communication was quick and complete. I would say this is stellar customer service and thank you. I look forward to doing business again one day. Thank you

Marstar did an excellant job, they mailed the firearm asap. After waiting 4 1/2 months for the transfer, Canada Post dropped the ball. At this point in time, they can’t track the firearm. I am surprised, they are usually very efficient.

I can honestly say that Marstar provided the absolute best customer service I have ever experienced. There have obviously been some ‘challenges’ with the federal government of late, and the gentlemen that i dealt with at Marstar (John and Payam) worked with me and found creative solutions that expedited my purchase. When l called about my order, which had been delayed by the distributor, I was not rushed off the phone with some hurried excuses but instead received a full and comprehensive explanation from the man in charge. It was a refreshing contrast to the tension fueled rhetoric of many Canadian dealers in response to the government induced panic foisted upon the legitimate firearm community from undemocratic and punishingly misplaced firearm laws.

I ordered a handgun hours after Justine Castro announced his evil plot to deny law-abiding Canadians the right to buy or sell handguns (long arms coming soon).

Within a couple of hours, Marstar, and every other online Canadian firearms dealer were 95% out of stock. Reports I read said 60,000 handguns were sold within 24 hours after Castro’s announcement. I scooped up one of the few remaining handguns Marstar had in stock. The online service was excellent. But then began the waiting process for a firearms transfer permit. Normally this should take a couple of days.

Then one week went by, two weeks, three weeks. After a month I emailed Marstar and asked what the delay was about. A very friendly and helpful lady, Pat replied and assured me that yes, the the RCMP firearms department was behind schedule. 5 weeks, 6 weeks, 7 weeks, 8 weeks go by and again I emailed Pat and she told me that they did process a few permits for Ontario and to hang tight.

Now, 12 weeks later, I finally got my transfer permit and within hours, Marstar delivered my purchase to Canada post. If not for the prompt and friendly service from Marstar and Pat, I would have canceled my order and given up all hope of ever buying a handgun in Canada. I hope that us law-abiding Canadians can push back against the tyranny of Ottawa, and that Marstar will continue to be my go-to dealer from now on.

My TT-Olympia .22 arrived, and I’m impressed by this pistol. General external fit and finish is way better than I expected and even though I’m left handed, the grips on this solid little pistol feel fine to me. I field stripped it and found the internal fit and finish to also be better than expected, with no real obvious tooling marks and no sharp edges left. I haven’t had a chance to shoot it yet but don’t anticipate their being any problem, and the only down-side to me is the back sight window could be a little wider, but there again I’m 77 years old so my eyes aren’t what they used to be. At it’s current sale price the pistol is incredible value for the money.

I had one helluva time finalizing my order- of course it doesn’t help if you’re as computer illiterate as I am- With the help of Clay ( a pleasant guy that answered the phone ) I confirmed the fact that any problem I had was of my own doing. Once the Canadian Firearms Center decided to finally do their job and approve my pistol transfer, Marstar’s response was immediate. Pistol was shipped as soon as was possible, and the Tracking Number sent to me. I’m an old cynical guy, but am VERY impressed by Marstar’s customer service attitude and ethic.

When I placed the order I was informed of the transfer within 1 hour When the transfer was approved I was notified of shipping immidiatly. The fact that it took 80+ days to get, well, that’s on the governments employees. I Will be ordering from you guys again. Great service.

The transfer took awhile (Not Marstars fault of course, thats the CFO’s issue) but it finished transferring late yesterday and by very early today you already had my packaged shipped out. Received my 3 orders yesterday ,all fitted perfect, I think the stainless firing pin was for the 9mm but it’s ok, I can still use it. tried it out today at the range 100 rnds and not a issue, the strut pin worked like it should, locking the hammer back on every cycle. Darn fine working gun now, You guy’s are the best ever, great customer service and prices. I liked the MARSTARCANADA decal as well, nice surprise, I’m a decal man when it come to firearm decals. I am pleased at how my order was taken and dispatched, shipped promptly and was packaged very professionally.
The contents, a pistol with 2 magazines cleaning tools etc. were protected very well, so as no rattling could be heard as if one chose to shake the package in trying to hear anything mechanical inside.

I placed an order for a firearm on Friday evening. After further research I determined that it didn’t met my requirements. I sent an email Monday morning cancelling my order. Later in the morning I contacted Marstar by phone. I spoke with an employee and explained the situation. He immediately cancelled the order and checked the stock status of another firearm for me. This was handled very professionally and with great courtesy.

I ordered a Pietta SA 1873 on Friday January 7. Payam emailed me to add a note to my order which included notice to transfer number on January 11. Alberta CFO approved the transfer January 13.
Payam emailed me to let me know he was personally following my order up with the clerks and confirmed he was able to ship the package out the same day as the Alberta CFO approved the transfer.
On January 17, the Pietta was received. Nice pistol, not the quality of a Colt, but not the price of a Colt either. Good value for the money I would say.

I ordered an item , then afterwards asked if a certain accessory would be a match. Marstar was very quick to reply and had an answer to my inquiry. Absolutely the sort of establishment I enjoy doing business with, and will definitely refer others.

I had little hope that anyone could repair/restore the shattered wood stock on my great-grandfather’s 12g side-by-side. Not only did Marstar do a phenomenal repair/restoration, but they did so in record time and for an incredibly reasonable price! Now, this heirloom is proudly displayed in my home and is a great conversation piece.

As if this were not enough, I recently asked for help identifying another vintage side-by-side. Despite a concerted effort on my part to research the piece, I could find nothing. Purchased a brace of Pietta 58 New Armies and one had excessive rotational movement in the cylinder. On examination, the hand that locks the cylinder in place was, at the factory. Really helpful staff over the phone, extremely knowledgeable, and the layaway program is a MUST! Its the whole reason I chose Marstar in the first place! The lay away program made nice firearms accessible to me and helped me get them where no other company could. Whats more is the staff even offerred to extend the lay away period if I was having trouble making payments due to an unforseen major expense. Please never get rid of this program, as I literally direct all people who want to buy firearms to your company.

Thank you for the Beretta 92s you sent me which shows an apparent hand pick I asked for. Almost new condition. At 71 and on CPP I think this will be the last firearm I will be able to afford to buy but rounds out my circle. 357 magnum, 45 ACP, .22 and now 9mm in addition to my long arms. Marstar has for decades provided shooters and gunsmiths with quality new guns or hard to find parts for collectors. The service is impeccable and has not changed. The gun brands or the surplus models may be from manufacturers that are less well known in Canada, but dont let that stop you. European countries have centuries of experience making firearms. That experience shows.

There was an issue with one of my orders and the problem was squared away immediately.

Marstar has a great reputation in Western Canada, which is why I approached them, and its people within an organization like this that enable shooting sports to thrive across Canada. Thank you guys.
