Description:
This 5.56 NATO semi-automatic rifle operates with a 3/8″ piston, mid-length rifle gas system for ultimate reliability and durability while allowing the gun to run clean with limited amount of carbon in the action. No buffer tube is required for the rifle to completely cycle, because of this, Crusader Arms have fitted the rifle with an ACR style folding stock. The Charging handle is non-reciprocating and ambidextrous for your preference.
The Templar Gen 2 has a redesigned and streamlined lower receiver that is now able to accept standard AR15 trigger pins, safety components, grips, stocks and trigger packs. The Templar Gen 2 features a full length (monolithic) 1913 picatinny rail. Also, the Templar Gen 2 has a Bolt catch and release AR15 Style paddle on the left side of the rifle.
