The Sabatti SKL-20 is a single-shot, break-action hunting rifle – also known as a “Kipplauf” – whose design is strictly tied to the most rigid “One Shot” European hunting tradition.
The small but sturdy receiver is machined out of a 7075-T6 high-strength aluminum alloy billet. The locking system is based on a classic Jäger-design breech locking block, but the barrel lock itself is achieved through a robust system developed by Sabatti, using conic prongs to ensure a more stable lock if compared to those found on other firearms of the same category.
The cold-hammer forged barrel features a Sabatti MRR multi-radial rifling pattern. The rear sight is adjustable, and an 11mm rail dubs as a mounting interface for optics.
The peerless-quality trigger comes with an extremely reliable manual cocking system that’s just as quick and easy to decock as it is to arm.
The stock – also featuring a well pronounced pistol grip and a cheek rest – and the handguard are hand-made out of selected walnut and are hand-checkered and oil finished.
